LETTER TO PSV UNION FC MEMBERS

PSV is excited to announce that we are now an affiliate club of college recruiting and placement organization ‘Rising Star Academy’. See announcement here. We decided to partner with RSA to supplement our existing internal college support that we offer players and families. PSV does not pay for our affiliation, rather we have been hand-picked by former UNC assistant coach, current NC Girls Soccer Camps director, and RSA founder Jason Sisneros as part of an exclusive group of prominent clubs which are focused on providing a richer and more supportive college guidance service.

Of this recent announcement, Rising Star Academy Founder and Director Jason Sisneros said, "We're honored to have PSV Union join the Rising Star family. The club has been an example of how soccer can positively contribute to personal growth. Their core values align with what Rising Star is about, and that is why it made perfect sense for PSV Union to join us in our new club affiliate program. This joining of forces between Rising Star Academy and a select group of clubs around the world will ensure that Rising Star families from across the globe have access to the best information and competitive environments to support their student-athlete's development on the field and in life."

We chose to become an affiliate of Rising Star Academy because of the experience of the founder and because while we feel we provide more support than most clubs and our staff can connect players with colleges, we wanted to be able to offer our members more immediate and on-call assistance and support. The existing service we offer will not change and we will continue to provide references and advocate on our players' behalf. However, we will work closely with Jason to track PSV players progress and provide him with backend support and technical feedback.

While we have numerous great relationships with college coaches and will still provide internal support for our players, we wanted to work with an industry leader, a trusted person with professional and personal integrity who can provide honest and reliable assistance to players, and an organization that has extensive experience and resources focused on college recruiting. Through his previous extensive experience as a coach and recruiter, Jason has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and contacts. Over the years we have worked with Jason through his interest in PSV players as a UNC coach as well as his involvement as a director of North Carolina Girls Soccer Camps. We are excited for Jason and RSA to join our team and look forward to creating a tremendously strong college recruiting and guidance service to our players and families.
