College ID Camps hosted by PSV Union FC

PSV Union FC regularly holds camps and clinics in collaboration with coaches and staff from various college soccer programs. For example we held clinics with coaches from the women's soccer programs USC, St. Mary's College, USF, and University of Chicago. We have also hosted UNC Girls Soccer Camps before their trip to Australia and New Zealand which PSV founders Gary & Carine Ireland managed and led for the Tarheels.

The purpose of our college ID camps and clinics is:

  • To give players exposure to working with and learning from a college coach
  • To experience the kind of coaching and material being taught at college practices
  • To allow college coaches to recruit from the players club environment. Many PSV players have been recruited not from tournaments but right from the practice field here in Palo Alto.
